I Need A Light In The Dark As I Search For The Resolution

"My New Year's Resolutions

1. She's praying to Jesus.

This year, I am going to get baptized

at the Alliance Church.

2. She has some troubles with herself.

This year, I am not going to let

silly things get to me.

I am going to become a new, confident,

beautiful young lady.

3. He was always there to help her.

This year, I am going to spend more

time with you.

4. With some strange new friends.

This year, I am going to try and

build the new friendships I have started

and continue working on the ones

I already have.

5. Put your best suit or dress on.

This year, I am going to not care

what I look like so much, but I am

going to see just how completely

gorgeous I actually am.

6. There'd be no distance that could hold us back.

This year, I am going to not

hide my feelings. I am going to

be confident and act on them.

7. Someday you will be loved.

This year, I am not going to put

such a huge emphasis on boys. I know

one day I will be where I am supposed

to, and when that happens it will rock.

As for now, I will just be happy with life.

2009 will be wicked.
